I have bought gift cards for years at Fred Myer and appreciate the 4X fuel credits. I understand now I have to have a digital coupon. Sorry, I don’t have access, or knowledge about this digital process. Senior citizens are missing out on many of the deals Fred Myer offers. Please consider that seniors are deprived in many areas of modern technology. Can I receive digital coupons for gift cards at customer service?

Shopper at Kroger, corner of Rockbridge/Five Forks. purchased a 4X’s gift card. Did not get my points. I am a senior citizen, visually impaired and short. You need to have perfect vision and a five foot ladder to read the small print on the fuel point sign. Kroger should be ashamed of themselves playing shopping games with customers. Just get rid of those games and sell cards. I am to old for games and most of the customers are my age. We talk we complain and we consider taking our business elsewhere/
I’m having a hard time finding this too. Do you really not want people to use these coupons ? Or do you have to have a degree in computer science in order to do it !?!

We had the same problem, never saw a sign anywhere and we bought !75.00 worth.
Last time I buy at any of the stores I went to store today to shop saw that it was 4X points on gift cards so I stocked up on gift card as I did last year . After checking g out and going home I noticed I didn’t get check for the point, when returning to the store I was informed this year you have to have a digital coupon. The sign at the very top of the sign says with digital coupon. If your standing under the sign you can not see this. Been a Fred Meyer and Fry’s shopper for 30 years, but not anymore i’m done with them.

Not that I know of, but whatever you accumulate in August has to be spent by the end of Sept.

I went today 12/3 and thought I took advantage of the 4x coupons. Later found out I had to renew my 4x points. Usually, I have had them on automatically. Is there anyway I can get my extra points as I only go 2x’s. That is almost 400 points less than I should have. Why to do make people with Kroger Plus card go through all this…why can’t it just be automatic.?>?>

For the majority of us who have 16 gallon tanks or less, if you take your tank down so that you have 1 gallon left, you would save $15 at the pump (from purchasing $250 in gift cards). I’m guessing three gift cards would cost about the same price to purchase.
If you buy $250 in Visa/MC gift cards, you would have to buy two $100 cards and one $50 card. You need to factor in the individual fee for all three of these cards to determine if this deal is worth it.

Never mind I found it! It was buried deeply among those digital coupons.
Is it by area or to selected users only? I could not find any place to register.
Updating my own post. I called Kroger. The coupon was supposed to be Unlimited Use. They will adjust for you if you did not receive 4x on additional purchases thru Sunday. After I called, I noticed that my coupon was updated to say “Unlimited Use.”
Don’t forget to register for this offer by selecting the coupon once you log into your account. YOU MUST PREREGISTER BEFORE YOU GO TO THE STORE.
I believe most participate this time since they did not specify restaurant, movie, etc. I was able to purchase fixed value Visa cards and also Target gift cards this morning. Note that this one is a one time use deal. So make sure to buy all your gift cards in one transaction.
Hello again Anthony, Thanks for your reply to the previous version of the 4x promo this month, and I have a similar question/uncertainty about the present promo for this weekend. My loaded Kroger 4x coupon reads: “Earn 4X Fuel Points Friday, Saturday and Sunday Only when you buy a participating gift card, no-contract wireless handsets or airtime card on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.” It does not (sic) specify which gift cards are participating, yet you apparently understood this as applying to all gift cards, save for certain exclusions….? Question again, how do you know this? (the boilerplate language about see your store for details is useless — as there is no sign up at local Kroger stores about a promo only available to those of us who loaded the coupon… no?)
These Kroger 4x promos seem to be especially sloppy/confusing of late. (and I’ve been using them for years) Is this a Giftcardmall issue?

I probably should have used more exclusive language. The terms are broad as they state that the promo is restricted to restaurant, movie theater, gaming and music Gift Cards. If you follow the link of the promo to the giftcardmall site associated with Kroger, eBay cards are available but not explicitly excluded as they may fall under gaming or entertainment. I have updated. Thanks for the input.
Anthony, how do you conclude, “You can buy any gift cards(except for Kroger brand) which includes Fixed Value Visa and MasterCard Gift Cards for the Kroger 4X Fuel Rewards Promotion.” Yet Isn’t the 4x promo this time around RESTRICTED to movie, gaming, restaurant and music” options?
As such, your ending promo for an ebay card wouldn’t work here…. (you’d get just 2x for that) Or am I missing something here? Anybody actually test this as yet?
I w iant to make a gift card to make the January 23rd deadline, and the secure checkout form is giving me an error message for my email address or password. I use the same ones all the time and of course there is nobody on staff to address this question.
