Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim that &Pizza continued to send them text messages even after they opted out of receiving marketing texts. These texts allegedly violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
&Pizza is a pizza chain operated by Ima Pizza with locations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
&Pizza hasn’t admitted wrongdoing but agreed to a $750,000 settlement to resolve the TCPA class action lawsuit.
