Elite Status Opportunities: Automatically receive Marriott’s Silver Elite status, which includes which includes a 20 percent bonus on points, free standard in-room Wi-Fi, and priority late checkout, each year on your card account anniversary. If you spend $35,000 on purchases each year, you’ll automatically receive Marriott’s Gold Elite status, which includes a complimentary room upgrade, free daily breakfast, and 4 p.m. late checkout.

No Foreign Transaction Fees: Use your card outside of the U.S. without the hassle of paying a foreign transaction fee.
Transfer Points: With Marriott only, you can redeem four nights and get the fifth night free. If you transfer points between Marriott and Starwood, you will get 3 Marriott points for every 1 Starwood point. Coming in August 2018, you can transfer Marriott Rewards points to airline frequent flyer miles. The ratio will be 3 Marriott points for every 1 mile. Per the Starwood arrangement, Marriott will add 15,000 points for every 60,000 transferred to airline miles. That means 60,000 transferred points (75,000 points total with the bonus) will equal 25,000 airline miles.
Elite Night Credits: Beginning 2019, you’ll also receive 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year you hold the card. These credits will help members achieve the next Elite status level. Furthermore, card members will have the ability to attend exclusive events, such as the Kentucky Derby or a luxurious escape to the Bahamas.
Additional Benefits: Card members also get travel benefits, such as auto rental collision damage waiver, lost luggage reimbursement and trip delay reimbursement, plus purchase protection benefits, such as extended warranty protection and zero liability protection.
