In reply to J. It appears that it can be from different sources as long as the qualifying total is met within 15 days of opening the account. Due to transfer timing/delays it is very difficult to qualify. Appears that this “bonus” is more of an advertising scam, for most people.

This Capital One 360 Performance Savings are not valid. This is for targeted audience. Simply putting promotion code will not be eligible for promotion. However customers will get savings rate.

It takes Capitol One 11 days to link your account to your regular bank and make the transfer complete. I think this is a misleading promotion on their part because there is no way to fund your account within the 10 day requirement.

Regarding the April 27th promotion for current customers to receive a bonus for adding “new money” to their account, does anyone know how long money would have to be OUT of the account before it is again considered “new” for re-deposit in a future promotion?
