This promotion for $150 is only for young “adults” ages 17 to 25. You “forgot” to mention that in your listing. People age 26 or older cannot get this bonus offer.
I tried to do this promotion and a month and a half later, I still don’t even have my online banking set up. The customer service is terrible and I don’t even know my account number or balance.
They told me I had to fax a form with my signature on it, so I did that and they verified they received it. They said my account would be opened within a day. Now, 2 weeks later, I was told that my account wasn’t opened because my signature wasn’t EXACTLY like it appeared on my license. Which it did. Now it’s past 60 days and they refuse to give me any bonuses.
Avoid this bank – it’s not worth the hassle.
I currently bank with them and they do a soft pull inquiry via chexsystems
So has anyone had success with this promotion yet? Is it just limited to younger adults or can anyone do this?
I just signed up, and it’s telling me to go to a branch for the initial deposit. I’m going to call to see if i can work around it, but that should have been mentioned in this post and their website before i went through the application process >:o
2 questions:
1- an old FW thread from 2012 says you have to go in branch to finalize the opening of the account (despite online application). Can anyone clarify?
2- Can older ladies and gents get in on this?
