BankDirect Bonus Miles By Account

- 5,000 bonus AAdvantage miles for using their online bill payment program 6 consecutive months. You have to pay a minimum of 3 different payees totaling at least $500 per month.

Looks like this has been changed to only 6 months of activity, still a terrible deal.
Don’t think so. Miles can be for a free flight.
Are the points redeemable for cash?
Effective Jan. 1, 2012 they have a $12 monthly fee regardless of account balance. Bill Pay and CheckCard bonus require 12 months of activity and the payroll deposit must be “FULL” paycheck from all employers. Not worth it for the $144 in fees for the first year.
