I got a message saying unable to process online. Guess I’ll have to go to the branch.
I opened the account on line, made a cash deposit, waited for the debit card to arrive after a week or so I got leary as I needed to make the necessary charges. Called the bank to be told I had to go to a branch not near me to signup for the card. needles to say I assumed the card would come in the mail like every other card does. I’d like to close the account but I see there is an early cancel fee.

I opened the Regions LifeGreen checking account online using the promo code on 6.28.18. I made the direct deposits and 10 debit card purchases within 60 days and the $200 bonus was deposited at 90 days. I cancelled my direct deposits after the first two were made and have not yet been charged the $8 monthly fee. I will keep the account open the full 6 months to avoid the $25 early closing fee (unless the $8 fee starts, and then it might be cheaper to close early).
it takes a full 120 days, and can take up until the 120th day. Does anyone know if they are putting this promo out again, it’s expired now.

LINK does not work. Called Regions bank to apply and was told that the 165 promo code is not a legitimate offer. Regions website does not have it listed either.

After about a month of talking to CSR and the employees at my local branch, I finally managed to redeem this bonus.
I believe this promotion expired not too long ago (10/31, according to CSR).
