Will ACH from Chase/ Wells Fargo/ Fidelity /eTrade be counted as direct deposit? Thanks

Oh well, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Here’s what I found while going through the application process online.
1. There is a page that shows some information about the accounts and checkboxes for which ones you want to open. The names on the checkboxes are different from the names in the explanation area (Ex. “Free Checking Account” in explanation apparently means you should check the box of “Express Bundle.”).
2. If you add one beneficiary and put in their info, it then asks you if you want to add another beneficiary. Even if you check “No” it will not let you move forward with the application without putting in another SSN (for the beneficiary you do NOT want to add).
3. The funding page gives boxes to say how much you want to fund multiple accounts with, even though they have nothing to do with the account you’re opening. Also, contacting chat support did not help – they kept telling me to fill in a box for Savings, but when I finally got on the phone they told me the required savings amount needs to be included in the “Debit Card Account” section.
4. When you get to the “Legal Stuff” page, you need to check the boxes to acknowledge, however it will allow you to move forward even if you do not check any of the boxes. Also, the link to the Fee Schedule takes you to an “Error 404: Page Not Found.”
5. When I was able to find a fee schedule somewhere else on their site (after searching around for a while), it looks like there could possibly be a $35/month “Private Banking Account” fee. I couldn’t find any accounts named “Private Banking” so not sure.
6. They don’t seem to be FDIC Insured: “I understand that Credit Union 1 is not federally insured and if this institution fails, the Federal Government does not guarantee that I will get back my money. “

Thanks Brent. It has been updated. I believe those are the new terms with the latest change of expiration date.

The direct deposit requirement is for 3 months instead of 2 months; the early termination timeframe is 12 months instead of 6 months.
