This $50 Amazon gift card referral bonus is surprisingly still available. It requires a direct deposit now. Just sign up with my link above, and register for a checking and savings account with the same email address that you use to sign up for the referral program with.
One thing I will say is if you choose to open the cash back checking account and want to use your debit card, be sure to activate the debit card within 90 days, or you’ll have to order a new debit card. It doesn’t say this anywhere, and ordering a new debit card costs $10, so just beware.
It may take a week or two to get your accounts approved and up and running, but the $2k per account credit card funding sure does come in handy. This offer is nationwide for those who are members of or join the American Consumer Council, and joining is free.

I signed up for the referral offer when it was $100 for each party. They paid out in Amazon gift cards (rather than Visas) by email for me (you’ll receive the email from Tango Card). I still think it’s worth doing for $50/$50. Be patient with this one, as it can take the credit union a couple of weeks or more to fully approve your accounts, especially if they need further documentation from you.
It looks like they’ve added a $200 direct deposit requirement for the referral bonus now. It also looks like you need to keep your checking and savings accounts for 60 days, and then you will receive your referral bonus by email within 60 days of that. You can make 10 referrals yearly provided the bonus amount stays at $50/$50, though I’m not sure if your initial sign up bonus would count against that.
I haven’t tried earning any cashback on my cashback checking account yet, so I can’t say anything about that for now. I do know that you would need to spend $5k monthly in order to max out at $25 cashback per month, though. Thanks to anyone who uses my link for the referral bonus. Unfortunately, I wasn’t approved for this account when the referral bonus amount was $100/$100, but I got in once it changed to $50/$50. Still a very easy bonus. I signed up for the cashback checking account, but haven’t used it for the cashback yet. You just need to open checking and savings accounts with the credit union, and keep them open for 60 days in order to earn the referral bonus.
Anyone nationwide can sign up with the credit union as long as they opt to join the ACC right on the online account application. It also looks like you need to sign up for online banking and make a $200 direct deposit now within the 60 days. It says that the direct deposit needs to be recurring, so maybe you need to make two $200 direct deposits?
