How To Earn Bonus
- To qualify for the $250 cash bonus, you must
- (1) become a new member to Beacon Credit Union by establishing a $25 member share account and open a Choice Plus Checking account (minimum opening deposit of $100),
- (2) conduct a minimum of 15 debit card transactions within the first 90-days, AND
- (3) set up a cumulative qualified direct deposit amount of at least $1,000 into your account within the first 90 days of account opening.
- To qualify for the $250 cash bonus, you must (1) become a new member to Beacon Credit Union by establishing a $25 member share account and open a Choice Plus Checking account (minimum opening deposit of $100), (2) conduct a minimum of 15 debit card transactions within the first 90-days, AND (3) set up a cumulative qualified direct deposit amount of at least $1,000 into your account within the first 90 days of account opening.
- A “qualified direct deposit” is a direct deposit of a paycheck, pension, Social Security or other eligible regular monthly income, electronically deposited by an employer or an outside agency into your new checking account.
- Cash bonus is only available to new members, members who have had an account with Beacon Credit Union in the past 12 months or have previously received a cash bonus are not eligible.
- Bonus may not be combined with other offer and may not be withdrawn without notice.
- Limit one bonus per household.
- All accounts are subject to approval.
- Accounts must be opened at a branch location or online at www.mybcu.org.
- $250 Cash Bonus Payment will be credited to your new checking account within 30 days after all terms are met.
- Your account must be in good standing at time of payment to receive cash bonus award.
- Cash bonus value will be reported to IRS as taxable income.
- Beacon Credit Union reserves the right to end this offer at any time.
